Of Evansville, IN.
Sharon "Sue" Menke, 81, of Evansville, IN. formerly of Elberfeld, passed away Friday, March 19, 2021 at Park Terrace Village in Evansville. She was born December 2, 1939 in Gibson County to the late Harry & Margaret (Geis) Miller.
She was a homemaker and belonged to the Zion United Church of Christ in Elberfeld since 1974 and the Elberfeld American Legion Women's Auxiliary since 1977.
Sue was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 45 years, Bennie Menke, sisters, Linda Menke, Shirley Hill & Charlotte Kuehn, brothers, Denver Miller & Gilbert Lee Miller.
She is survived by her daughter, Tamara (Brad) Perkins of Evansville, grandson, Camron Short of Evansville, and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 27, 2021, at the Titzer Family Funeral Homes, Volkman Chapel, 2nd & Elm Sts., Elberfeld IN. 47613, (812) 983-4211, with burial to follow in the Zion UCC Cemetery. Visitation will be from to 9:30 to 11 a.m.
In accordance with the Indiana COVID-19 precautions, all attending are required to wear a mask and follow proper social distancing protocol. If you are not feeling well, or if you have compromised immune system, you are encouraged to stay home.
