I worked for Stan at the United Engineers construction site at GE. It was my first real job out of college. I remember him as a very nice man and he taught me how to play bridge when the job site was shut down during a strike. He was also my next door neighbor in Melody Hills for a while. My condolences to your family.

I worked for your Dad at RECO (construction office) at GE for many, many years and I can truly say that I absolutely loved him and loved working FOR him!! I knew that I'd better have the coffee made when he walked in the door or he would be grumpy all day.... I tried to aggravate him as much as I possibly could just to get him out of his grumpy mood and it usually worked - he was definitely a wonderful boss although I had to teach him a few things about writing letters and that if he wrote one, HE had to be the one to sign it, not me!! I also remember your Mom very well, in fact, they had me for dinner a few times at your home in Melody Hills in Evansville and it was always a treat to be around all of you. I am so very sorry that you have now lost both of your parents but they're together again in heaven. They were exceptionally fine people and I know they were extremely proud of their family. Stosh was the one I heard about most from your Dad but I know he was proud of all of you. I too have lost both of my parents so I know the pain you're going through BUT, God is good and if you rely on Him for comfort, He will provide. Once again, you all have my heartfelt sympathy at losing such a fine man. Your Dad looks so happy in this picture.....Please feel free to contact me if you wish.
