Newburgh, Ind.
Steven Cross, 52, passed away Wednesday, July 18, 2012, at his home. He was born January 25, 1960, in Evansville, Ind.
He had a love for the outdoors, woodworking, collecting artifacts and antiques, fishing and drawing.
He was preceded in death by his father, George Cross Sr.
Steven is survived by his mother, Dorothy (Cross) Crick; high school sweetheart, Karen (Cross) Smith; daughters, Melissa Cross, Jennifer (Cross) Lamb and JeanAnn Cross; son, Jacob Cross; six grandchildren; brothers, George Cross Jr., Ron Cross, Mark Cross and Curtis Cross; sisters, Becky Craft, Deborah Peak, Vicky Weiss, Dianna Brust, Pamela Weimer and Robin Greenwell; many nieces and nephews.
Services will be 7 p.m. Saturday, July 21, 2012, at Alexander West Chapel. Friends may visit Saturday from 10 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be given to Deaconess Hospice, 600 Mary Street, Evansville, IN 47710, or the Warrick County Humane Society, 5722 Vann Road, Newburgh, IN 47630.
