April Jo Boblenz

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of April Boblenz, a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend, who left this world far too soon. April passed away Sunday, June 22, 2025 at OSU Wexner Center peacefully, surrounded by her family, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unwavering kindness. April was born May 3, 1983 in Marion, Ohio to Ron J. and Rose M.(Roshon) Wolf. She graduated from Elgin High School in 2001 and then from The Ohio State University. She was employed as a teacher for 18 years with Dublin City Schools. On December 11, 2004 she married the Love of her Life, David A. Boblenz, he survives in New Bloomington, OH., along with her three children, Bailey Jo Boblenz and twin sons, Colton Andrew Boblenz and Chesney Lane Boblenz. Also survived by her mother, Rose M. Saunders, her sisters, Jan Coleman of Marion, Oh., Kate (Mike) McAvoy of Marion, Oh., mother-in-law, Deb (Barry) Neagles, father-in-law, Gary Boblenz, niece, Tricia Wolf, nephew, Dyllen (Eva) Coleman, niece, Marissia (Ryan) Calbert, niece, Katlyn McAvoy, nephew, Roston McAvoy, niece, Kareston McAvoy, sister-in-law's, Kristi Feliciano of Omaha, Nb., Kelly (Adam) McMahan of Marion, Oh., nephews, Blake Feliciano Brice Feliciano and Stone McMahan and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Ron J. Wolf, great grandmother, Wilma Stephens, grandfather, Glen Dale Roshon, grandmother, Jean Roshon, step-father, Lester Saunders, aunt, Sue Weaver, aunt, Karla Harper, grandfather, Joe Wolf, grandamother, Letha Wolf, grandmother, Martha Boblenz, grandmother, Martha Joliff and grandmother, Bertha Stansberry. April was a woman of deep compassion and vibrant spirit. She dedicated her life to teaching, shaping countless young minds with patience, encouragement, and a genuine belief in every child's potential. Her classroom was more than a place of learning-it was a safe haven where students felt seen, valued, and inspired. Outside the classroom, April found joy in the simple and magical moments of life. She had a deep love for turtles and dolphins; drawn to the grace and gentleness they embodied. The ocean was her sanctuary, where she loved to swim, feeling at peace with the world around her. One of her happiest places on earth was, fittingly, Disney World-a place she visited often, embracing its wonder and magic with the heart of a child. April had a special fondness for first responder television shows, admiring the courage and strength of those who serve others-values she carried within herself. But above all else, she was devoted to her family. As a wife and mother, she was the heart of her home-steadfast, nurturing, and always full of love. As a daughter and sister, she was a source of strength, joy, and connection. April Bolenz's life was a beautiful gift to all who knew her. She will be missed more than words can express and remembered always with deep love and gratitude. Visitation for April will be held Friday, June 27, 2025 from 4 – 7 pm at Snyder Funeral Home, Denzer Chapel (360 E. Center St. Marion, Ohio). In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to Donate Ohio in care of the funeral home.
