Barbara Fuller Obituary

Barbara Jean Fuller, age 85, formerly of Lost Creek, West Virginia, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at the DeWolf Place in Marion following an extended illness. On April 6, 1939, Barb was born in Mount Clare, West Virginia, the only child of the late Roy Keith and Maxine (Johnson) Radcliffe. She grew up in Clarksburg, WV, where she graduated from Victory High School in the class of 1957. Mutual friends set Barb up on a blind date with a US Navy veteran, Harry Lowe Fuller, and from there the rest is history. They were married on February 10, 1967, and cherished their 55 years of marriage. Together they lived in Weston, West Virginia, for 20 plus years, then Lost Creek, West Virginia, for 20 plus years. He preceded her in death on December 9, 2022. A loving homemaker, Barb took pride in caring for her beloved husband and family. Barb and Harry raised a daughter, Robin (Fuller) Johnson, and after her untimely passing, they lovingly raised Robin's daughter, Kristin. Very faithful, Barb and Harry attended the Broad Street United Methodist Church in Weston, West Virginia, and the Simpson Creek Baptist Church near Clarksburg, West Virginia. One of the highlights of Barbara's life was being a part of a clogging group, the Good Time Cloggers, down home in West Virginia. She was an avid clogger and instructor for 20 plus years. She also loved fashion, and enjoyed going shopping for the perfect outfit for whatever the occasion was. Very outgoing and social, Barb will be remembered for her friendly and jovial personality. Barb and Harry believed that West Virginia was almost heaven, deeply loving their home state. She also was a faithful woman who loved her family, especially her granddaughter, Kristin, who was her pride and joy. Barbara will be missed by her beloved granddaughter, Kristin (Jose Vale) Johnson of Marion, OH; and great-granddaughter, Reagan Vale; and a cousin, Elva Jean Griffith. Barb was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Fuller; daughter, Robin Johnson; father and step-mother, Roy and Marjorie Keith; mother and step-father: Maxine and Gene Radcliffe; and by several cousins. Services honoring her life will be observed privately by her family. On behalf of her family, they would like to extend a heartfelt "Thank you" to her dear friends Ann Slone and Abigail Wagner, whom she cherished her visits with. They also would like to thank Julia Smith, who was both Barb and Harry's caretaker with Gentiva Hospice. Lastly, they would like to thank everyone at the DeWolf Place for their care of Barbara.
