She was preceded in death by her father, Stephen J. Kuzma, brother Darren, grandparents Stephen J. and Margaret (Tomallo) Kuzma, and grandparents, James A. and Betty (Wilson) Gray.
Survived by husband, Ryan Johanson, mother, Linda L. Gray-Kellar and stepfather, Daniel G. Kellar, brother, Steven J. Kuzma, father-in-law, Melvin McLean of Bladenboro, NC, father and mother-in-law, Keith and Carol Johanson of Fort Mill, SC, and her two fur babies Lily and Princess.
Stephanie was a 1990 graduate of Fort Mill High School, Fort Mill SC and a graduate of York Technical College in Rock Hill, SC. She was a long term (19 year) employee of the Community Guidance Center, Northern Cambria office in the accounting/billing department. Stephanie was previously employed by the Diamond Drug Company of Indiana, PA.
Stephanie was a beach comber and loved her visits with Ryan to Emerald Isle, NC where she took side trips to see the wild horses on Shackleford Island. As a child, she remembered her many visits on Gray's Mountain to her Great Uncle Bud's (Theodore Gray) house to check out his horses.
Stephanie's love of the ocean began with trips to Myrtle Beach in the 80's or 90's. But years later, after the death of her Pap Gray, a trip with her Gram and Aunt Lori to Emerald Isle, NC deepened her love. Emerald Isle, NC became her "Happy Place". Then trips with her husband Ryan, family and close friends were spent with joy and laughter. Shelling on the beach and going to her favorite spot on Shackleford Island where the wild horses roam free.
She deeply loved her Gram and Pap Gray where she resided from the time she was four months old until 1982. She then accompanied her mother to Charlotte, NC and Fort Mill, SC where she lived on the grounds of the PTL Television Network/Heritage USA. Stephanie attended Heritage Academy prior to Fort Mill Middle and High School.
Stepanie and Ryan are both 1990 graduates of Fort Mill High School where they were reunited just prior to their 20-year class reunion. They married on the McLean family farm in Bladenboro, NC on June 2, 2012.
