Dan Liming Obituary
He is preceded in death by his parents Eugene and Theresa Liming of Bucyrus, OH, and his brother Terry Liming of Aspen, CO.
Dan is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Betty (Gearhart) Liming of Naples, FL, sons Troy Liming of Columbus, OH and Chad Liming (wife Michelle), and their children Allyson Liming and Blake Beckley of Bucyrus, OH, stepson Brett Gearhart (wife Rachel) and their children Alex and Addy Gearhart of Columbus, OH, along with sisters Roxi Liming, Michelle Stambaugh, and Beverly Stearns.
Dan loved life - rowing his little boat on the lake behind his home in Naples, working out at the gym, and making people laugh. He was good at that. He graduated from Wynford High School in 1969 and years later received a heating, ventilation, A/C, and refrigeration degree from Terra Technical College. He worked as a mechanic in the maintenance department at the Timken Company for 30 years.
After retiring in 2004, Dan and Betty moved to Naples, FL to enjoy the warm weather and beautiful beaches. Not one to be lazy, Dan continued working part time at Naples Heritage Golf and Country Club, and later at Mercedes Benz of Naples.
At Dan's request, no services are being planned at this time. Expressions of sympathy are encouraged as donations to the American Cancer Society.
