Gladys J. Brown 92 of Bucyrus went to be with the Lord on Thursday October 2, 2025, at Altercare of Bucyrus following a brief illness. Gladys was born March 16, 1933, in Tiro, Ohio to the late Ralph Clemence and Flora Ella (Welty) Brown. She was also preceded in death by brothers and sister in laws Arlo and Carol Brown and John and Phyllis Brown; sister and brother-in-law Arlene and Earl Smith; as well as niece Wynelle Scenna.
Gladys is survived by nieces and nephews; Lori (Denny) Mutchler of Bucyrus, Gary (Karen) Brown of Wooster, Jeff (Janel) Brown of Michigan, Bryan Brown of Michigan, Brett Brown of Turkey, Ron (Rhonda) Smith of Texas, Rick (Jody) Smith of Wisconsin and Robert Scenna of Massachusetts; as well as numerous great and great great nieces and nephews.
Gladys graduated from North Robinson High School in 1951 and worked for 45 years as the Secretary at Wayside Chapel.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday at 1:00 pm at Wayside Chapel with burial to follow in Brokensword Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm until the time of the service. Memorials may be made to Wayside Chapel or the Wayside Chapel Missions as well as the Council on Aging Nutrition Program. Expressions of sympathy can be left at www.munzpirnstill.com
