Jason Mabe

Jason Matthew Mabe, age 49 of Marion, passed away tragically at his work on Tuesday September 30, 2025. Jason was born December 3, 1975 in Mount Vernon, Ohio, the son of the late Randal and Sharyn Kay (Reasoner) Mabe. He received his education in Marion, graduating from Harding High School in the class of 1994. Jason was a jack of all trades and a hard worker. He had a great sense of humor and an infectious laugh. He enjoyed going to concerts and never shied away from singing karaoke. He was an avid Cleveland Browns and Indians fan along with cheering on the Ohio State Buckeyes. He cherished his family, especially his son, Landon. He was a proud father and loved watching Landon play baseball. He is survived by his son Landon Mabe; grandson Roman James Mannas Toland; brother Keith Mabe; he was nephew to: Michael (Shari Carlson) Reasoner, Joseph (Linda) Reasoner, and Michelle Cudd; grandmother Grace Reasoner; the mother of his son, Amanda "Amy" Bollinger; his mother's devoted companion Steve Lowe; and numerous cousins and friends. Visitation will be Thursday, October 16, 2025 at Snyder Funeral Homes, Denzer Chapel, 360 East Center St., Marion from 4PM to 7PM. Guests are encouraged to dress in their Browns, Indians and/or Ohio State attire. If desired, donations may be made to Snyder Funeral Home to assist the family in honoring Jason.
