Larry Robert Rodman Sr.

Larry Rodman Sr. a proud Navy veteran, passed away Saturday August 23, 2025 after a life filled with love, service, and adventure. After retiring from Stabil Drill in Louisiana, Larry returned to Ohio to enjoy his well-earned retirement with his beloved wife of 57 years, Susan - the love of his life. Together, they shared a deep bond and a love for traveling, often hitting the road to explore the country and visit dear friends. Larry was deeply devoted to his family. He took great pride in being a father - and an even greater joy in being known as "Paw Paw," his favorite title of all. Known for his kind heart and generous spirit, Larry was always ready to lend a helping hand. His warmth and unwavering support touched everyone who knew him. There are no words to truly express how deeply he will be missed. Larry lived a beautiful life, rich with joy, adventure, and the love of a family who adored him. Larry is survived by his wife Sue, Son "Little" Larry (Elaine) Rodman, Daughter Wendy (Jamie) Latiolais. Grandchildren Megan (Matt) Hendershot, Colleen (Spencer) Douet, Glen Rodman, Tayler Latiolais, Jordan (Logan) Dupuis, Sam Latiolais, and Jack Latiolais. Great-grandchildren Neveah, Wren, and Graham. Brothers: Dennis (Sharon) Rodman and John Rodman. And a special family friend who has been a great source of support Michelle Andrus. Preceded in death by his parents Isabelle and Ray Rodman, sister Sharon Sherman, and his precious son Kirk Rodman. Visitation will be Saturday August 30, 2025 at Snyder Funeral Homes, GUNDER/HALL Chapel 347 West Center St., Marion from 9AM to 10:30AM; funeral service will follow at 10:30AM; burial will be held privately for the family.
