Robert Williams Jr.

Robert "Bobby" H. Williams Jr., passed away on September 13, 2025, after battling stage 4 lung cancer. Born on October 7, 1947, to the late Robert H. and V. June (Rider) Williams. He married the love of his life Rosemary Eiseman on August 26, 1972 and she preceded him in death on February 15, 2015. Bobby is survived by his son Robert (Cynthia) Williams III, a grandson Jonathan; two sisters: Holly (Phil) McGeorge and Lynn (Dave) Beddow and a brother Ronald Williams, as well as many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by his sister Judy. Bobby was a lifelong resident of Prospect. He graduated from Elgin High School in 1965 and worked on his family farm, still located on Gooding Rd. Bobby was drafted in 1967 and joined the United States Army. After making it through basic training, he was sent to Vietnam, where he remained until being honorably discharged in April of 1969. Upon returning home, Bobby worked at Jack Cloud Concrete until 1980, when he went back to work on the family farm. Bobby was a lifelong member of the Knights of Pythias, as well as being a member of both the American Legion and VFW. Bobby was truly a one-of-a-kind person. A proud husband, father and grandfather, who will be sorely missed by everybody who touched his life. Gone, but never forgotten. Visitation will be on Thursday, September 18, 2025 from 4:00-7:00 PM in the Snyder Funeral Home, Denzer Chapel, 360 E. Center St., Marion, Ohio 43302. Bobby's Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, September 19, 2025 at 11:00 AM in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Waldo Cemetery, where Military Honors will be rendered.
