Sutton Rettig Obituary
God granted us an angel by the name Sutton Nicole Rettig, 7 weeks old of Bucyrus passed away on Wednesday November 27, 2024 at Bucyrus Community Hospital unexpectedly. Sutton was born October 1, 2024 in Columbus, Ohio and following her birth at only ten days old she underwent open heart surgery that included reconstruction of her aortic artery to her heart. Expecting a second surgery to repair holes in the bottom of her heart in 8-12months. She was recovering at home surrounded with so much love and endless snuggles. Although her time with us was cut far too soon our hearts will forever be filled with joy and honor because we were able to be graced with such a beautiful perfect baby girl. She was always so happy. When I tell you she was the best baby anyone could wish for it is the God honest truth. She was an angel from the start. We loved you every second of your life and will miss you every second of ours… We love and miss you so much sweet girl.
Sutton is survived by her parents William “Chris” Rettig and Elishia Pollard; brothers Quinton and Langston; grandparents Shelli Tuttle, Steve and Janis Pollard both of Bucyrus; Victoria and Tony Jenkins of Prospect, Kip Rettig of Morral; great grandparents William “Bill” and Debbie Rettig of Marion and Mary Turner of Bucyrus; aunts and uncles Steven & Brittany Pollard of Bucyrus Mikinzee Pollard of Bucyrus, Conner Rettig of Marion Daisha Jenkins of prospect, Briar watts-Rettig of Morral oh, Tony Jenkins of Marion ,Britney Jenkins of Marion; cousins Addilyn, Emmalyn, Blake, Colton, Ainslee, Madison, Sophia, Paisley, Willow, Bre’sean, and Sandy.
She was preceded in death by great grandparents Roger Fultz Sr. and Debra; Wanda and David Miller, Merle Pollard, Richard “Animal” Turner.
The family will receive friends at Wayside chapel on Tuesday December 3, 2024 from 4:00 pm until 6:30pm. Expressions of sympathy can be left at www.munzpirnstill.com
