George Trame Obituary

Louisville - Louisville, Kentucky - George "Dick" Trame, 12/15/41 - 3/31/24, 82, passed away on Sunday, March 31, 2024, in hospice care in Louisville, Kentucky. Dick was born on December 15, 1941, in Ottawa, Ohio, son of Richard J. Trame and Laura Mae Laibe. A long time resident of Defiance, Ohio, Dick played football and basketball for Defiance High School. After graduating DHS, he proudly served in the Army National Guard. Dick worked at Arps Dairy, where he retired after 40 years. He worked an additional 7 years as a bus aide for Defiance City Schools. In his spare time, Dick loved to fish, watch football and play cards. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

Surviving are his wife, Margo Yvonne Wiseheart, of Louisville, Kentucky, his daughter and son-in-law, Tracy Trame and Rich Hanson, of Crystal Beach, Florida, stepson and step-daughter-in-law, Ronnie and Vicki Cowles of Louisville, Kentucky, step-daughters Dawn McMillen of Englewood, Ohio and Terri Roberts of Fort Wayne, Indiana. Also surviving are his 5 grandchildren, Sammy, Kayla, Cambree, Cameron, and Olivia and his niece, Tammy and nephew, David.

Dick was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Laura Mae (Laibe) Trame, brother, John, sister-in-law, Barb and his daughter Jenny.

Memorial service to be held in Defiance at a later date.
