Jake Reynaldo DeLeon

Jake Reynaldo DeLeon of Rogers, Arkansas, age 20, passed away on Sunday, September 14th, 2025 at Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville, Arkansas. He was born on Monday, May 30th, 2005 in Ft. Wayne, Indiana to Lisa Grimme and Eugenio (Gene) DeLeon.

Jake grew up in Kokomo, attending Kokomo High School until February 2023 when he and his family moved to Northwest Arkansas where he graduated from Bentonville High School. He enjoyed life, travelling, hiking, taking gator rides, walking his dog, visiting pet stores, watching his favorite TV shows, Wonder Pets, Super Why!, The Backyardigans, and Judge Judy, and going to school, hanging out with his friends and family.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Reynaldo Sr. and Joan DeLeon; his maternal grandparents, Jake and Jacqueline Grimme; and one uncle, Ken Grimme.

Jake is survived by his parents, Gene and Lisa; paternal aunts and uncles, Reynaldo DeLeon Jr. (Elidia), Diana DeLeon, Teresa Colangelo (Don), Andy DeLeon (Laura), and Danny DeLeon (Kristine); maternal aunt and uncle, Larry Grimme (Shawna); and many cousins on both sides.

The family will hold a Memorial Service at a later date in his hometown of Kokomo.

Jake was very well loved, and will be deeply missed.
