Defiance - Jereme Gage Williamson, 'GJ', 86, of Defiance, passed away on August 16, 2025. She was born on February 10, 1939, to Clinton and Tomsine Tubbs.

She was one of the first women foremen at General Motors, where she was known as 'big boss lady'. She worked as a hair stylist before that. She was also a talented artist and seamstress. She was survived by a son Earl R. Williamson, veteran US Army and Marines, stepdaughter Barbara Cole, stepson Doug Williamson, grandson Chad Williamson, veteran US Marines, great granddaughter, Laureli, grandson Justin Williamson, veteran US Army, sisters Penny (Kenneth) Bond and Kathy Tubbs, and nephews Jeff (Brooke) Bond and Eric Bond and niece Jenny (Tom) O'Brien. She was preceded in death by a son Aaron Williamson and parents Clinton and Tomsine Tubbs. Jereme had a passion for reading, cooking, watching sports, and spending time with her family. You could always count on her for good advice. She will be forever missed in our lives and in our hearts as an incredible mom, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.
