Linda Rex Obituary

Napoleon - Linda Kay (Fuhrhop) Rex, 78, of Napoleon, Ohio, passed away Friday, March 20, 2026, at Northcrest Nursing Home in Napoleon. She was born October 17, 1947, to Eldon and Marie (Warner) Fuhrhop.

On June 25, 1966, Linda married Ronald Rex of Napoleon. Their love story began on the dance floor, as Linda was drawn to Ronald's love of dancing. During Ronald's service in the U.S. Army, he was stationed in Germany, and while expecting their first child, Linda made the journey overseas to be by his side. Upon returning to the United States, they built a life together in Napoleon, filled with cherished family memories, summer camping trips, and winters spent in Florida traveling in their motorhome.

Linda found great joy in caring for her family. She loved cooking, gathering with family and friends, and creating a warm and welcoming home. She had a special talent for making beautiful floral arrangements and was known as the family seamstress, always willing to lend her skills to those she loved.

She is survived by her two sons, Brett (Kim) Rex of Napoleon and Curt (Jamie Johnstone) Rex of Delta; three grandsons, Kyle (Shelby) Rex of Northwood, Chad (Tara) Rex of Napoleon, and Hunter (Kendall) Rex of West Lafayette, Indiana; one great-grandson; two step-great-granddaughters; and her sister, Joyce (Dan) Honeck-Dudley.

Linda was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ronald, and her parents, Eldon and Marie Fuhrhop.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, March 26, at Rodenberger-Gray Funeral Home in Napoleon, with visitation from 11 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
