Robert W. "Bobby" Lang

New Bavaria - Robert W. "Bobby" Lang, 75, of New Bavaria, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at St. Rita's Hospital in Lima.

He was born September 3, 1949, in Defiance, Ohio, to Burnell and Annie (Bilski) Lang.

Bobby was a 1967 Defiance High School graduate. He had joined the U.S Navy prior to graduating high school and went on to serve his country during the Vietnam Era. While at sea, Bobby packed parachutes, which also gained him sewing capabilities and ironing to perfection.

He enjoyed hunting deer and squirrels, but most of all loved to be riding his motorcycle.

Bobby loved his family; daughter and grandchildren, as they were everything to him. He followed all of their events.

He is survived by his daughter, Jody (Dave) Mohring, of Napoleon, grandchildren, Drake, Joslyn, and Jessa; siblings, Judy (Walt) Barnek, and Marilee Lang, of Cleveland., and significant other, Deb Sheets; and her family, Denny and Lori Sheets (kids, Cody and Katy Sheets, Collin Sheets) David and Kristi Sheets, and Dale Sheets.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Burnell W. Lang, Jr.; and step-son, Steve Bolland.

Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. on Monday, March 3, 2025, at Snyder-Wesche-Hoening Funeral Home, 830 Scott St., Napoleon, where funeral services will follow at 3:00 pm, Pastor Ben Sheaffer, presiding. Bobby will be interred with private family graveside services and military honors in Riverside Cemetery in Defiance.
