Adam Bagdasarian Obituary

BAGDASARIAN Adam Bagdasarian, age 79, of Bridgeport, beloved husband of 53 years to Emma Godzeno Bagdasarian, died on Wednesday, December 8, 2004, at Bridgeport, Hospital. Born in Bridgeport, he was the son of the late Abraham and Filomena Zezegullan Bagdasarian. A lifelong resident of Bridgeport, Adam was a retired street paver for Leverty & Hurley Construction Co., and also a member of Local Union 478. A veteran of World War II, he served in the Infantry and had participated in the Battles of Normandy, North France, Northern Appennines, Rhineland, Ardennes and Central Europe. Survivors in addition to his devoted wife, Emma; a son, Kenneth J. Bagdasarian and his companion, Carol Samperi, of Shelton; a brother, Steven Bagdasarian and his wife, Delores, of Milford; sister, Rose Witkowski of Florida; his daughter-in-law, Vivian Bagdasarian of Shelton; a devoted brother-in-law, William Godzeno of Bridgeport; three loving grandchildren, Jenielle Bagdasarian of Shelton, Kenneth Bagdasarian Jr. of Bridgeport, Jessica Reyes of Oklahoma; and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by two sons, David and Gerry Bagdasarian. Funeral services and Burial will be private at the request of the family. Calling hours will take place on Friday, from 5 to 8 p.m. in the Commerce Hill Funeral Home, 4798 Main Street, Bridgeport (on the Trumbull Line).
