Albert Forno Obituary
Albert P. Forno, age 97, of Trumbull, Connecticut, went home peacefully to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, after a long illness.
Albert was predeceased by his beloved wife of 72 years, Margaret O'Brien Forno. Together they raised five children, namely Katheen Marovic (Michael), Sharon Leidy (Robert), Nancy Ellen Heinrich (Stephen), Cynthia Calzone (Richard) and James Forno (Maureen). He was grandfather to 12, a great-grandfather to 20 and a great-great-grandfather to one. Albert was predeceased by his brother, Frank Forno, and his sisters, Eunice Tobin, Rose Santurbano and Barbara Kohl. He is survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a fund set up for Albert's grandson who was recently severely injured in a motorcycle accident. Gifts can be mailed to James A. Forno, 53 Knorr Road, Monroe, CT 06468 or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Friends are invited to share their condolences with the family on Wednesday, October 15, 2025 from 4:00 -7:00 p.m. at the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home, 399 White Plains Road in Trumbull, CT. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 16, 2025 with a mass of Christian burial at St. Catherine of Siena Church, Trumbull, CT at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery, Stratford, CT.
