Alexander Jamieson Obituary
Alexander Jordan Jamieson, 22, of Stratford, CT, passed away unexpectedly May 1, 2019 after a long battle with depression. Alex was raised in Milford and attended Joseph A. Foran High School then transferred to Jonathan Law to finish.
Alex was currently performing with his band, The Cover-Ups and also The Influence, with his amazing talent on the guitar (influenced of course by Billie Joe of Green Day). Alex also had mastered the art of skateboarding which he so very much enjoyed his entire life. He had recently decided to work on a path to a career as a Firefighter, which well suited his character of loving and caring for so many. His genuine heart of gold has touched so many.
Alex is survived by his parents, William Sr. and Debra of Milford, brother Robert and wife Jeanne, brother William Jr. and wife Blakely, sisters Vanessa, Kaylee, Kelsey, Jody, sister Caitlyn Sheridan, brother Gabe Kazeleh, Uncle Gator Murphy, and many cousins, nieces, nephews and other extended family. Also survived by his girlfriend, Taylor Cabana, his mentor Mike Sinnott, and many, many friends, all of which loved him dearly. He was predeceased by his grandparents.
Celebration of Alex's life will be Tuesday, May 7, from 5-7 p.m. at Smith & Sefcik Funeral Home, 135 North Broad St., Milford, CT. The family invites all to attend and attire is as Alex would want, Green Day & Punk.

Alex was a wonderful person. I loved every second i spent with him simply because he was like a ray of sunshine. He helped through a very tough time in my life and i will forever love him for that i will forever remember all of the memories we had it was never ever a dull moment with him❤ Rest easy buddy youll always be in my heart❤

Alex was one of the brightest people I've ever had the pleasure to have in my life. Hilarious, goofy, and with the biggest heart I've ever seen in someone. He did everything he could to make those around him happy. Few people have that gift. When he moved to Florida with me was some of the best and most cherished memories I could ever have. He made what was a life changing and difficult move in my life full of joy. And he was always ecstatic to see me come back to visit. He'll always hold a special piece of my heart with him. Thank you for bringing him into our lives.

Alex was one of the best people i had ever met. Everyone he was around he spread positive energy and made everyone's day instantly better. He was talented , sweet , smart and overall a perfect person. Going to miss going to Milford mall and running into him and having beautiful conversations.

My heart goes out to his family & friends for this terrible tragedy. I only know him because I was a volunteer councelor for the boys & girls club at west shore. Such a kind hearted child and was always active. May his soul rest easy.

I honestly can't believe you're gone. You were such a sweetheart and a kind soul. To be honest I had a crush on you back in high school and you were always a good friend to me. Thank you for always being kind to me. I'll really miss seeing you around Milford and your big hugs whenever we would run into each other. Every time I listen to Green Day, I'll be thinking of you always my friend. You will be missed so dearly! Rock out with the angels!
