Alice Koronkiewicz Obituary

Koronkiewicz, Alice
Alice (Czaplinski) Koronkiewicz, age 68, of Flagstaff, Arizona, died on Tuesday, July 16, 2013. She had been a lifelong Stratford resident prior to relocating to Arizona two years ago. She was the daughter of the late John and Sophie Czaplinski. Alice retired from the law practice of Vincent Simko where she had been employed as a paralegal. She previously had been employed at ITT Corp. She enjoyed traveling and was happiest spending time with her family, especially her grandsons.
Survivors include two beloved sons and daughters-in-law, Thomas and Lisa Koronkiewicz of Flagstaff and Michael and Orn Koronkiewicz of Thailand; three brothers, John Czaplinski, Robert Czaplinski and Richard Czaplinski; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to attend the funeral on Friday, July 26, 2013 at 10:30 am DIRECTLY at St. James Church with a Mass of Christian Burial. Inurnment will follow at St. John Cemetery, Monroe. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society, 372 Danbury Road Wilton, CT 06897 or www.cancer.org. My deepest sympathies to Tom, Michael, John, Richard, Robbie and your loving families. We all love your Mom, Sister, Grammie very much. I have always loved and cherished my time with Alice and the family. As we've grown our relationships have not suffered for the time and distance apart. Now we know, we will once again in time be with Alice in a far greater place.
