Alicia Laracuente Obituary
Alicia Laracuente, age 90, of Bridgeport, entered eternal rest on Saturday, November 18, 2023, in her home, with her loving family by her side, in Orlando, Florida. Alicia was born June 27, 1933 in Utuado, Puerto Rico, the beloved daughter of the late Laura and Pasqual Laracuente. She was an amazing, strong, and selfless woman. Alicia was a mother of 5 children, which made up the entirety of her world. She was a friend to all and welcomed everyone to her home. She showed her love by serving everyone her delicious food and words of wisdom. She was the glue that bonded the family, the matriarch. Alicia is survived by: 5 children, Frank, Edwin, David, Evelyn, Jerry Cuevas; 14 siblings and several grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She will truly be missed. Friends may greet the family Monday, December 4, 2023 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Community Funeral Chapels, 798 Park Ave., Bridgeport, CT 06604. Tel: 203-334-9999. A Mass of Christian Burial will proceed at 12 noon at St. Mary's R.C. Church, 25 Sherman St., Bridgeport, CT 066608.
