Ana Gonzalez Obituary
Ana Rios Gonzalez, age 91, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, February 22, 2024. Ana was the wife of the late Angel M. Gonzalez, Sr. Ana was born on June 10, 1932 in Arecibo, Puerto Rico. She was the daughter of the late Felix and Maria Rios of Arecibo, Puerto Rico.
Ana was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Ana retired as an assembler from the Bryant Electric Company in Bridgeport, CT, retiring in 1987. She was a respected worker whose lifelong friendships extended long after retirement. She always placed the needs of others before her own.
Above all she relished the overwhelming love she received from her son Angel Jr., daughter-in-law, Yvette, granddaughter Sandra Marie Quinonez and her greatest treasure, great-grandson Kaiden A. Quinonez. Ana had three predeceased sisters, Melita Rivera, Bronx, NY, Melania Gomez, Bronx, NY and Noemi Mendez, Arecibo, Puerto Rico. Additionally, she had two predeceased brothers, Daniel Rios, Puerto Rico and Jose "Pepe" Rios.
The family would like to thank the parishioners of the Christian Revival Church, Bridgeport, CT, for their love and friendship. Thanks are also expressed to other assorted friends, who brought much love to her life. Of particular note are parishioners Carmine Delgado, Judy and husband Tony Quintero, who spent countless hours engaging in activities of friendship and love.
Funeral services will take place on Thursday, March 7, 2024 at 12:00 noon in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. Interment will follow in Park Cemetery, Bridgeport. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Wednesday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. For online condolences, please visit us at www.abriola.com.
