Andrew Cordova

CORDOVA Andrew Cordova, age 83, of Bethel passed away Thursday, July 31, 2008. He was the husband of Norma Cordova for 62 years. He was born in New York, April 29, 1925. He was a disabled veteran of the U. S. Army during World War II. He retired in 1984 as a U.S. government employee of GSA. He is survived by four sons, Joseph A. (companion Cindi) of Cheshire, Louis P. (Alice) of Vero Beach, Fla., Andrew F. (Sharon) of Newtown, and Frank J. (Janet) Cordova of Shelton; grandchildren, Jennifer, Jason, Susan, David (Wendi), Jeremy (Alison), CPT Amy Cordova of JAG, and Christina (Brett) Greenlaw; six great-grandchildren, Jayden, Brady, the twins, Zachary and Cody, Alyssa, and Dylan; one brother; and several nieces and nephews. His parents, three brothers and one sister predeceased him. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday August 3, at the Bethel Funeral Home. A Mass will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Bethel, Monday August 4, 2008 at 10 am. Burial following in Bethel Cemetery.
