Andrew D. Gachi
Andrew D. Gachi, was born on July 13, 1932, and passed away peacefully at Bridgeport Hospital on Saturday, October 12, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. Andrew is survived by his wife Carolyn, sons Christopher and wife Judy and Matthew and wife Alicia, his grandchildren Allison, Jeffrey, and Brooke, Michael, Nathan, and William. Andrew served in the Korean War and received the Bronze Star and worked in the financial industry for many years. Services for Andrew were private with interment in Mountain Grove Cemetery, Bridgeport. To send condolences, visit www.redgatehennessy.com

Our deepest condolences to Andy's family. He was good friends with my uncle Leo Koch and all the first generation of kids growing up in the West End of Bridgeport who made up the St. Dimitrie community. We lit a 7 day candle for Andy this past Sunday. May his memory be eternal.
