Angelina Morton Obituary
Angelina Morton, age 85, of Stratford, passed away on February 16, 2016 at Cambridge Manor in Fairfield with her family by her side. She was born in Bridgeport and was an area resident most of her life. She was a retired bookkeeper, an avid bowler and loved to crochet. A loving mother, she will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She was predeceased by her husband Harvey Morton; a son Lee Morton and three brothers Angelo, Gino and John Mattini. She is survived by her children Katherine (Joseph) Battistelli of Stratford, Edward ( Mary Lou) Morton of Monroe, Charles (Deborah ) Morton of Naugatuck, Kevin ( Cheryl) Morton of Milford, Robert ( Roberta) Morton of Monroe, William (Roberta) Morton of Stratford, Nancy (John) Eles of Trumbull and Florence (Wayne) Lillis of Naugatuck; a sister Lena Bartomioli of Bridgeport; twenty grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to attend her funeral service on Monday at 10:15 a.m. at the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home, 399 White Plains Rd. Trumbull and at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mark's Church, 500 Wigwam Lane Stratford. Interment will follow in Lakeview Cemetery. Friends may greet the family on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society 38 Richards Ave. Norwalk, CT 06854. I have always had such great respect for Mrs. Morton. I know that she was warmly greeted by her loving husband and her son as she passed through the veil. I know there was a joyous reunion for her.
