Anna Ghitsa Obituary

GHITSA Anna Rossios Ghitsa, age 67 of Orange, beloved wife of Peter Ghitsa, passed away on Friday, August 19, 2011. Born and raised in Edessa, Greece, Anna came to the United States more than forty years ago and has been an Orange resident for nearly 35 years. She was a longtime member of St. Dimitrie Romanian Orthodox Church. Anna will be remembered as a loving wife and mother and will be greatly missed. In addition to her husband, Peter, Anna leaves behind her son, George Ghitsa and daughter, Elizabeth Ghitsa, both of Orange; a brother, Jimmy Rossios; and sisters, Marica Evagelacou, Katerina Sougaris and Kalie Schuster; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, George Rossios. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11:30 a.m. in St. Dimitrie Romanian Orthodox Church, 504 Sport Hill Rd., Easton with burial to follow in Lakeview Cemetery. Friends may call on Monday at the Church from 10:30 a.m. until the time of services. Arrangements in the care of the Lesko & Polke Funeral Home.
