Anna Lanese

LANESE Anna Marrone Lanese, age 95, of Trumbull, died on Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at St. Vincent Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. Born in Brooklyn, NY on April 16, 1915, she was a daughter of the late Vincent and Maria Benfanti Marrone. Mrs. Lanese was a retired employee of Remington Rand Co. and was a member of the Remington Quarter Century Club. She was predeceased by her husband, Michael A. Lanese, a son Nicholas V. Lanese, two brothers, Joseph and Nicholas Marrone, two sisters, Vincenza Lombardo and Mary Spetrino. Survivors include her beloved daughter, Maryann Lanese Ramik and her husband Dr. Richard J. Ramik of Trumbull, her devoted son, Richard Lanese and his wife Bonnie of Milford, a daughter in law, Alba Lanese of Trumbull, a sister-in-law, Katherine Marrone of Fairfield, seven grandchildren; Michael Lanese and his wife Sara, Michelle Lanese, Lynne Dedo and her husband Joseph, Susan Sarni and her husband Alex, Timothy Ramik and his wife Denise, David Lanese and his wife Jill, Richard Lanese Jr., and his wife Cindy, Karen Ferraro and her husband Joseph and Dawn Lanese, twelve great grandchildren, three special nephews, Vincent, Anthony and Larry Lombardo,as well as many additional nieces and nephews whom she loved. We were blessed with a wonderful mother, who loved her family unconditionally. She was very generous and thoughtful and her quick wit and sense of humor will be fondly remembered. Funeral services will take place on Saturday, December 18, 2010 at 8:30 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 9:30 a.m. in St. Theresa Church, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may call on Friday from 5 to 8 pm.
