Anna Pelino Obituary
Anna "Irma" Pelino, 83, of Trumbull, CT sadly left us on Tuesday, June 20, 2023 peacefully at St. Vincent Medical Center surrounded by her devoted family. In addition to her two sisters, Anna was predeceased by her loving husband, Marino. She was born in Tocco da Casauria, Italy to Giovanni and Emilia Iacuone and then moved to Connecticut where she started a wonderful life with her husband. Anna worked at Wooster Middle School in Stratford, CT where she worked in the cafeteria doing what she loved best, cooking! She thrived in the kitchen cooking for her grandchildren, making the most delicious Italian meals. Anna also was a devout Catholic and sang in the Italian choir at St. Margaret's Shrine.
Anna leaves behind her three caring daughters Marina, Diana and husband Francis McNellis, and Gina; loving grandchildren Antonio, Stephanie, Giovanni, Ava, Louis and Anthony; and sister, Elide.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, June 24th at St. Margaret's Shrine, 2539 Park Ave., Bridgeport, CT at 10:30 a.m. Friends may greet the family on Saturday from 8:30 am to 10:00 a.m. at Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull. Entombment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull, CT. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Anna's name to Swim Across the Sound, https://swimacrossthesound.org/donate.
