Anna Gilbert Wargo, age 91, of Bridgeport, beloved wife of the late George J. Wargo, passed away on Sunday, November 16, 2014 in the Alzheimer's Resource Center, Southington. Anna a retired secretary for the University of Bridgeport was born in Granville, NY to the late Michael and Mary (Macura) Gilbert and has been a long time area resident. She was an avid traveler, and enjoyed visiting many different places. Survivors include her devoted sons, George Wargo and his wife Nancy of Norwalk, David Wargo and his wife Karen of Milford, Peter Wargo and his wife Margaret of New York, and Michael Wargo and his wife Susan of Orange, 7 cherished grandchildren, Nicholas, Katherine, Forrest, Kyle, Jordan, Marissa, and Samantha, 2 sisters, Mary Semanchik and Kay Bialko and her husband Richard, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, and husband, she was pre-deceased by her brothers, Nicholas, John, Michael, Joseph, and Alek Gilbert, and sisters, Ellen Falkowski and Susan Gullotta. Funeral services will take place on Thursday, November 20th at 9 a.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford and at 10 a.m. in St. Andrew's Church Bridgeport, for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery, Stratford.
