It´s been 4 yrs already. My memories of working with Tony, my mom Frannie Dunn, Mary Simmons, Kathy Tilson & Linda Montecalvo, Frankie Vaz & Dennis Wills are always with me. Especially memorable the lady who ALWAYS came for dinner at 6:50 knowing restaurant closed at 7pm. I won´t mention her name but her husband owned a drugstore on Paradise Green and only left a dime tip. Bless you, Tony and Josie! Great people.

I was so fortunate to have been one of the waitresses at Tony's Center Restaurant during my high school days some 50 years ago!

Through the years, I never forgot Tony's warm smile and kindness, and his gracious welcome to all his many patrons.
Whenever his small children would visit with Josie, no matter how busy we might have been, his joy at seeing his family was all encompassing!

As I read Tony's obituary, I am so pleased to know that he continued to enjoy an honorable life filled with positive contributions and purpose, and a family filled with love.
What a life well lived, and what a beautiful legacy he leaves behind.

To all the Amoroso family, I offer my sincere condolences, and wish you kinder, gentler days ahead.
May Tony's memory always be a blessing to all who knew and loved him.

Sincerely,
Mary Simmons (Rottblatt)

Heartfelt sorrow upon hearing about the loss of your Dad. I worked for Tony, as we knew him at the Center Restaurant in Stratford. . A few of my friends & I worked at the Center Restaurant during our high school years now so many years ago and both Tony & Josie were always wonderful to us. We always admired how close the family was and how much they enjoyed each other. Somehow the entire family has always remained in my memory for good. May he rest in peace.

To Tony's family:
My mother Frannie Dunn and I, Kyle Dunn, both worked at the Center Rest with your wonderful dad!
I worked after StfdHigh got out with Kathy Tilson, Mary Simmons, and Linda Montecalvo. We really enjoyed helping your dad.
Now he is with Josie, and my mom and dad, Cliff Dunn. Sincere condolences. I no longer live in Ct.
