Anthony Fiorito Obituary

FIORITO Anthony Fiorito, age 85 of Bridgeport, died suddenly on Thursday, January 7, 2010 at Bridgeport Hospital. Born on March 29, 1924, he was a son of the late James V. and Mary D'Amico Fiorito. He was the retired owner and operator of Fiorito's Service Center and Steam Cleaning, where he began to work with his father at the age of 7. A U. S. Marine Corps Veteran of World War II, Anthony was pre-deceased by his wife, Ann Kubic Fiorito and three sons, Gary, Robert and James Fiorito. Survivors include three children, Mark Fiorito and his wife, Susan of Shelton, Gregg Fiorito of Bridgeport and Debra Ryan and her husband, John of Shelton; six grandchildren, Amy, Denise, Christine, Dawn, Jimmy and Jaso;, three great-grandchildren, Diana Rose, Travis and Logan; two brothers, Patsy and James Fiorito; a sister, Virginia Miller; as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at 10 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. Entombment with military honors will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery Garden Mausoleum. Friends may call on Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. To light a virtual candle, visit us at www.abriola.com.
