Think of you always my friend.

July 20, 2014

To the entire Lupinacci family and Tony's golfing family at Hubbard Heights, my deepest condolences. Two weeks ago, I received a call that, my good friend had passed. I have simply been unable to say the words. Tony and I were born the same year and have been friends for most of our adult lives. We became friends through our love of golf and our shared belief that golf tournaments should be conducted so that golfers would be treated with respect and have a fun & memorable experience, even if they played poorly. Tony would arrive at a tournament site and simply say "I'm here for the day. Put me where you need me." Tony has been seen volunteering at registration tables, spotting golf balls, roaming Exec. rules official, scoreboard, and even helping players find parking spots. He did not care where he helped, as long as the championship ran smoothly. When a tournament host entrusted Tony with a responsibility, we knew it would be done BETTER THAN PERFECT, because Tony knew how to do it. The game of golf has lost one of it's best friends. The Ct Shoreline Public G.A. and the New England Public Links Golf Association will never forget.
WE will miss you forever until we meet again on some plush fairway in heaven.

Dana & Jenna, I just heard today from Jessica that your Dad passed away - I am SO sorry to hear of your loss!! Your Dad was a wonderful man - kind, sweet, and gentle, and with a huge heart and a big smile. He was always laughing and joking and never had a bad or mean word to say about anyone. He was truly a lot of fun to be around - it was a joy to know him all of those years that I worked at the good old 19th Hole. He will be sorely missed by many, many people. My thoughts and prayers are with you both at this very sad time. Patty "D" (Woodroof)
