Antoinette Rogowski Obituary

Rogowski, Antoinette B.
Antoinette B. Rogowski, 92, longtime resident of Milford, beloved wife of 65 years to the late Edward H. Rogowski, passed away peacefully on September 8, 2016. Born on August 7, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Adam Barnash and Josephine Richardson.
Antoinette graduated from Ansonia High School and went on to receive her degree as a Registered Nurse from St. Francis Hospital School of Nursing in Hartford. She worked in a variety of nursing disciplines, her favorite being in the Milford School System as a school nurse. She was a voracious reader, quilter and knitter as well as a wonderful cook. She and Edward spent many vacations in Florida and Cape Cod and especially enjoyed their fall foliage trips all over New England. They had many dogs over the years, but their most recent and most loved was Max. The family would like to extend their gratitude to all the caregivers at Wesley Heights, especially Antoinette's nursing aid, Gertrude Suglo.
Antoinette is survived by her children, Jeanne (Bruce) Nettleton, Bruce (Julie) Rogowski and Mark Rogowski; her grandchildren, Eric (Tammy) Nettleton, Amy (Christopher) Grassi, Emily and Abbey Rogowski and Caity and Nicholas Rogowski; great-grandchildren, Benjamin and Charlyse Grassi and Molly and Lily Nettleton. She was predeceased by her grandson, Edward Lincoln Rogowski and her sister, Elizabeth Matt.
Services will be privately conducted. The family has been compassionately cared for by the CODY-WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 107 Broad St., Milford, CT. To leave online condolences, please visit our website at www.codywhitefuneralservice.com.
