Ariel Lugo Obituary

LUGO Ariel A. Lugo, age 56, of Fairfield, beloved husband of Laura M. Lugo and devoted father of two, died Friday, March 31, 2006 at St. Vincent's Medical Center, Bridgeport. Born and raised in New York City, he lived and worked in California for four years before settling in Fairfield 20 years ago. Mr. Lugo was a risk manager for Columbia Pictures during the 1980s and subsequently worked in that capacity for various private real estate developers in New York City. He was a member of Toastmasters of Stamford. In addition to his loving wife, Laura, he is survived by his cherished sons, Mathew and Colin Lugo, both of Fairfield; his mother, Antonia Lugo of Denver, Colo.; a brother, Sergio Lugo of Denver; a sister, Nina Lugo of Orlando, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to go DIRECTLY to St. Emery's Church in Fairfield on Monday at noon where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Burial will be private. On Sunday, from 2 to 6 p.m., friends may call in the Fairfield Funeral Home of Edmund W. Dougiello, 36 South Pine Creek Road.
