Armindo Nogueira Obituary
Armindo F. Nogueira, age 67 of Huntington, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, March 27, 2013 in Yale New Haven Hospital with his loving family by his side. Born on October 26, 1945 in Arcos, Montalegre, Portugal, he was the son of the late Jose and Ana (Sanches) Nogueira and moved to the United States in 1970 and was a Shelton resident for 30 years. He served in the Portuguese Navy for five years and was a retired employee of the Avery Abrasive, Inc. in Trumbull. Survivors include his beloved wife, Maria Rosa (Dias) Nogueira, two sons, Jose Nogueira and wife Cindy, and Jack Nogueira and wife Patricia, three brothers, Fernando Fernandes, Domingos Sanches and Paulino Sanches, and several nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to attend the funeral on Saturday, March 30, 2013 at 8:00 AM in the Parente-Lauro Funeral Home, 559 Washington Ave., Bridgeport and at 9:00 AM in Our Lady of Fatima Church, 429 Huntington Rd., Bridgeport with prayers of absolution. Interment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends may call on Friday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM in the Parente-Lauro Funeral Home.
