Barbara Roth Obituary

ROTH Mrs. Barbara (Bobbie) Smith Roth, age 77, a lifelong Milford resident, beloved wife of the late Dale W. Roth, passed away Wednesday, August 12, 2009 in her home. Born April 5, 1932 in Milford, daughter of the late Samuel and Myrtle Dugan Smith. Bobbie as she was known to many was a retired bookkeeper for 27 years with the former Edward Chickos & Sons Oil Co., of Milford. She was a communicant of St. Agnes Church, member of the St. Agnes Ladies Guild, Milford Senior Citizens, and actively participated in all class reunions of the former Milford High School, Class of 1950. Survivors include her two loving sons, Scott D. Roth of Oxford and Michael D. Roth and his wife, Kathleen of Morris; her cherished granddaughter, Lauren A. Roth of Bristol; two nieces, Cheryl Voronko and her husband, Paul, and Linda DeNegria and her husband, Chris. She is also survived by several great-nieces and nephews, and many good and loving lifetime friends. She was predeceased by a son, Wayne D. Roth; a sister, Jeanne L. Armstrong; and a brother, Samuel A. Smith Jr. Funeral from the Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 Broad Street on the Green, Milford Tuesday, August 18, 2009 at 9:15 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Agnes Church, Milford. Interment will follow in King's Highway Cemetery, Milford. My first recollection of Barbara---being in the same classroom with her all thru Grammar School, Class of 46'. We both lived on Oak Avenue.
My last recollection of Barbara--- being with her, Jeanette and my wife in Hawaii for 10 beautiful, delightful & hilarious days, Sept 06'
