Berkeley H. Brown

BROWN Berkeley H. Brown, age 62, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, February 6, 2008 at St. Vincents's Medical Center. He was born in Reidsville, N.C., on July 22, 1945, to the late Berkeley and Willie Long Brown. He served his country honorably in the United States Army during the Vietnam. He was employed as a trucker driver for the Enviro Trucking Corp. Left to cherish his memory are: beloved and devoted wife Earnestine (Clark) Berkeley; stepsons, Eric R. Thomas and Donlen M. Thomas; brother, Rev. Daniel C. H. Brown (Pamela); sisters, Edna B. Mark (Bernard), Dr. Doris A. Brown and Linda B. Blackmon (James); two grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by beloved sisters, Betty B. Bell, Regina B. Perkins and Rosemary B. White. Local funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, February 12, 2008 at the East End Baptist Tabernacle Church. 548 Central Ave, Bridgeport. Friends may greet the family from 6 p.m. until time of service at the at the church. Final arrangements and internment will held at the Blackwell Funeral Home, Burlington, N.C.
