Bernard Clouatre Obituary

CLOUATRE Bernard Philip Clouatre, age 60, previously of Naugatuck, died Friday, March 14, 2008 at University Medical Center, Lebanon, Tenn. He was the husband of Holly Heyse Clouatre. Mr. Clouatre was born September 25, 1947 in Bridgeport and attended local schools in Stratford. He was an Army veteran, having proudly served in Vietnam. He worked as a truck driver for 32 years, retiring in 2007. He was a member of St. Frances Cabrini Church in Lebanon, Tenn. His hobbies included driving his Model A, traveling and spending time with friends and family. Besides his wife of 28 years, he leaves one son, Bernard P. Clouatre II; a daughter-in-law, Lisa Dennis Clouatre; and one grandson, Christian Louis Clouatre, all of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; a sister, Patricia Clouatre of Derby; several nieces and nephews; many great-nieces and nephews; and two great-great-nieces. Services were held for Mr. Clouatre Tuesday, March 18, 2008 in Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon with Father Zachary Payikat officiating. Interment was in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
