Betty Malcolm Ljungquist

LJUNGQUIST Betty Malcolm Ljungquist, age 87 of Fairfield, passed away peacefully Saturday, October 17, 2009 in her home. Born in Brooklyn, NY the daughter of the late Antonio and Margaret Pipitone, she had been a Fairfield resident for the last 64 years. She was a member for many years of Black Rock Congregational Church where she enjoyed traveling on church related trips. Survivors include a beloved daughter, Janet C. Noy of Shelton; two loving granddaughters, Cheryl L. Bisset of Shelton and Rebecca A. Csech of Shelton; five cherished great-grandchildren, Devin, Joey, Kaitlin, Jacob Anthony and Coralea; and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother and a sister. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, October 21, 2009 at 1 p.m. at Black Rock Congregational Church with the Rev. James Marshall officiating. Entombment will follow in Oak Lawn Cemetery Mausoleum, Fairfield. Friends may call Wednesday from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Spear-Miller Funeral Home, 39 South Benson Road, Fairfield.
