Carol Dargon Obituary

Carol Ann Dargon
On Sunday, March 9, 2025, Carol Ann Dargon passed away at her home in Annandale, Virginia, in the company of her loving family. Carol was a longtime resident of Stratford and Trumbull, until relocating to Northern Virginia in 2020.
She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Thomas P. Dargon; her children, Jordan D. Parsons (Travis), Thomas P. Dargon Jr. (Kyle Hosey), and Magen D. Rauch (Steven); and her grandchildren, who know her as Grammie, Avery A. Parsons, Cameron M. Parsons, and Conor L. Rauch. She is also survived by her siblings, William A. Marshall Jr. (Amy Newman), Marianne Davenport (Charles), and Ronald P. Marshall (Donald Growhoski); as well as many loving nieces, nephews, and family friends. She was predeceased by her parents, William and Anna Marshall.
Carol spent her professional career working as a Customs Broker at William A. Marshall, Inc. and later as an Office Manager at Ronald P. Marshall, Inc.
Carol was a wonderful hostess and loved to celebrate every holiday and special occasion. The love, kindness, and happiness she exemplified could only be matched by her indomitable spirit, living every day by her "never give up" and "always try your best" mottos. She took great pride in traveling extensively with her family across North America and Europe.
Carol was above all, a devoted mother. She was an avid supporter of her children's endeavors and a fixture in the stands at their events at St. Joseph and Trumbull High School, as well as their college and summer leagues, whether it be softball games, tennis matches, or band competitions. She will always be their biggest fan, and often said her greatest achievement was raising her three children to be best friends.
A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, April 3, 2025, at 10:30am at St. Theresa's Church in Trumbull, where she was married in July 1980. In lieu of sending flowers to the church, please consider planting them in your garden, making a donation to charity in her name, or simply doing an act of kindness for someone in need.

To the entire Dargon Family: Mr. Dargon, Jordie, Thomas and Meg. I was so saddend to hear of Mrs. Dargon's passing. I hold our special summer memories so close to my heart and love to reminise and share stories of literally the best life lessons and memories a kid could ask for. We laughed, we cried, we played, we grew and it wasn't really about the trophies or accolades that we accomplished on that field but what we took with us off that field. Memories and a special bond that was created throughout the years and continues till this day. She was one of the "bests" for sure and boy did she love her family. Sending you all my love <3
