Celia D'Andrea Obituary

D'ANDREA Celia George D'Andrea, age 86, of Huntington, a homemaker, died on Friday, March 10, 2006 at Bishop Wicke Health Center. Born in Oxford on July 3, 1919, she was a daughter of the late James and Julia Gargar George. Along with her late husband, she enjoyed and took great pride in operating the family business, D'Andrea's Used Parts of Bridgeport. She also enjoyed her trips to the casino, spending time with her family and was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister who will be deeply missed. She was predeceased by her husband, Frank D'Andrea. Survivors include her devoted children, a son, Frank D'Andrea and his fiancé, Rita Curcio; a daughter, Julia Markarian and her husband, Arthur, all of Huntington; a sister, Agnes Garbien of Beacon Falls; seven cherished grandchildren, Julia Markarian and her companion, Douglas McEwen, Lynn Markarian and her companion, David Lesko, Maria Donnarummo and her husband, Fran, Arthur Markarian and his wife, Rose, Kim Stanziale and her husband, Don, Frank Markarian and Christopher Catalano; eleven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, March 14, 2006 at 9 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull and at 10 a.m. in the Huntington Congregational Church, 19 Church Street, Shelton. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends may call on Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. To light a virtual candle, visit us at www.abriola.com.

JULIE I HAD THE PLEASURE TO MEET YOUR GRANDMOTHER ONLY 1 TIME WHEN YOU STOPPED BY THE HOUSE WITH HER AND I WILL NOT FORGET HER.
