Charles Barnes Obituary

Charles F. Barnes, Jr.
Charles F. Barnes, Jr., age 67, of The Villages, FL and Milford, passed away peacefully on March, 11, 2025 with his beloved wife, Denise M. Barnes by his side. Charlie was born in Bridgeport, on November 9, 1957 to Amelia (Raymond) Barnes of Milford and the late Charles F. Barnes, Sr.
Charlie married the love of his life on October 4, 1986 and together they shared thirty-eight wonderful years of love, traveling and spending time with his nephews, whom he considered more like sons. Prior to his retirement, he operated along with his Pop, Barney Sign Service and Accurate Neon in Stratford.
In addition to wife and mother, Charlie is survived by his heartbroken sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Terese Travis-Horvath and Robert Horvath. He was the proud and loving uncle of Christopher (Melissa), Daniel (Chiyo) and Kyle Travis; his three great-nephews, Joseph, Jackson and Theo and his canine companion, Susy.
All services were held privately in Florida. To sign his online guestbook, please visit www.shaughnesseybanks.com.

Charlie
Truly enjoyed our Florida experiences together....the restaurants, the golf cart rides to the squares, and hanging at the pool with Denise and Marcia.
You are missed.
