My sincere condolences to the Mack family. I supervised Charlie at the Ansonia Labor Dept office. Charlie was a hard worker, extremely reliable. In the few times when business was slow and we had the time to chat, Charlie told some interesting stories about his time on the police force. But the story I will always remember his telling was when he came in possession of a metal detector and his first adventures in its use. Telling the stories he was laughing in tears and I was soon joining him - that was a great conversation. Charlie will be missed, he always wanted to be of help to others. Again my condolences.
