Charles Mauro Obituary
Charles D. "Charlie" Mauro, Jr., age 40, of Bridgeport passed away suddenly on Sunday, April 21, 2024 at his home. Born in Bridgeport on March 2, 1984 he was a son of Stacey (Reagan) Williams and her husband Clay of Bridgeport and the late Charles D. Mauro, Sr. Charlie had been a member of the Laborers Union 665, where he had been working in construction. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed frequent rounds with his friends. Charlie was a huge fan and supporter of both the New York Yankees and San Francisco 49ers and also enjoyed relaxing with a fine cigar on occasion. A loving and devoted son, father, brother, uncle, cousin and friend of many, he will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
In addition to his devoted mother Stacey and her husband Clay, other survivors include a son, Nicholas Mauro, a sister, Mia Mauro and brothers, Zachary Williams and Michael Mauro, as well as many cousins, too numerous to mention.
Friends may greet the family on Friday, April 26, 2024 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull, followed by a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. to conclude the evening. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Connecticut Humane Society.
