Christopher F. Schwarz
Christopher F. Schwarz, age 79, of Stratford, beloved husband of Joan Premak Schwarz, passed away on May 13, 2024. Chris was born in Bridgeport on May 16, 1944, to the late Christopher and Stasia (Mikulski) Schwarz and had been a lifelong area resident. He was a graduate of Bunnell High School, class of 1962, and was a U.S. Air Force veteran. Chris was a retired Special Service Installer for Southern New England Telephone (SNET) and was an avid fan of the Washington Redskins. Survivors in addition to his beloved wife of 34 years, include his devoted sons, Christopher F. Schwarz Jr. and his wife Dawn of Ansonia, and Robert F. Schwarz and his wife Sheri of Hamden, 5 cherished grandchildren, Rebekah Schwarz, Jennifer Schwarz (Joseph Pugliese), Christopher Schwarz, Ingrid Schwarz, and Vivien Schwarz, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Chris was pre-deceased by his sister, Emma Piccirillo. A Mass of Christina Burial will be celebrated on Friday, May 17, 2024 at 10 :00 a.m. meeting directly at St. Mark Church, 500 Wigwam Lane, Stratford. Interment with full military honors will follow in Lakeview Cemetery, Bridgeport. The Adzima Funeral Home – Stratford has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
