Russo, Corrado
Corrado J. Russo, age 87, of Trumbull, beloved husband of Rose Mastronardi Russo, passed away on Sunday, May 5, 2013. Born in Bridgeport on December 27, 1925, he was a son of the late Louis and Irene Carrafiello Russo. A U. S. Marine Corps veteran of World War II, Mr. Russo was a mason for over 60 years. His passion was fishing. In addition to Rose, his wife of 64 years, survivors include two children, Louis Russo of Trumbull and Patricia Russo-Ostreicher and her husband Jan of Fairfield, three grandchildren Enrico Belenchia and his wife Elizabeth, Gregory Russo and Marc Russo, two brothers, Vincent Russo and his wife Arline of Shelton and John Russo and his wife Alberta of Trumbull as well as many nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by a grandson, Steven C. Belenchia and two brothers, Frank and Anthony Russo. All funeral services will be private. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. Rosie, Patti and Louie,
My heart felt condolences to you and your family. Mr. Russo and Rosie were closer than family...I will never forget all the nights were spend on the front porch drinking coffee, expresso and of course my fathers samubucca!! All the years together and expecially those summer nights talking...and of course everything else that went on, you are and always feel as if you were my family...I will come by with Nicole and Gianna. Mr. Russo is at peace now and not suffering any more, God be with him and your family, my prayers are with you, Teresa Fabrizi-Alves, Nicole, Gianna and Johnny.
