I shall always be grateful to Hazel and Danny for the kindness they showed to me during the last days of my husband Bob's life. They stayed with me for three nights consoling me. During the day we visited Bob in the hospital and kept long vigils at his bedside. Hazel, ever true to her professional nursing career, ensured that Bob was comfortable at all times while Danny engaged Bob in brotherly conversation. Although Bob was not fully conscious at all times, he appeared to take great pleasure in the fact that we all were there and one time asked for his rosary which was on the night table next to him. We four recited the first decade of the Joyful mysteries. It was a very moving experience, one that I remember dearly. May God bless Hazel and Danny for their good works.
Rest in peace, Danny.
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.
Love and prayers always,
Kathleen

I was very sad to see the passing of Mr. Henry. I worked with him at Filene's in Danbury for a few years. He was such fun to work with. In the 20+ years after I left Danbury and 5 stores later ..no other Op's manager had ever compared to him. He was one of the best. My thoughts and prayers for all.

My oldest brother, Danny meant a great deal to me when I was growing up. He helped me to feel safe, secure and valued. When he took me to my first day at school. When he carried me home in his arms, my head bleeding after I cracked it against the billboard we climbed as kids. When he was school crossing guard at St. Benedict's. When he brought me books from Whaley's Book Store where he worked while he attended Regis High School. When he alone insisted I go on to college. When he discussed matters wide and deep with me. I love you, Dan, and I'm so sad to lose you.
