Daryl Dennis Bouchard, age 45, of Shelton, beloved husband of Brooke (Rega) Bouchard, passed away on November 5, 2022. Daryl was born in Norwalk on September 27, 1977, and was the son of Dennis and Deborah Bouchard. Daryl grew up in Fairfield and was a high school graduate of the Fairfield Preparatory School. He had worked for the family-owned and operated company Colonial Sanitation for over 28 years and most recently took over ownership. Daryl had lived in Shelton for over ten years with his family; he enjoyed many hobbies, including boating, hunting, snowmobiling, and riding his Harley Davidson. Daryl was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, but what he loved the most of all was coaching his children's sports teams, including basketball and softball, and assisting on the sidelines of football games. In addition to his loving wife, Brooke, and his parents, Dennis and Deborah Bouchard, Daryl's memory will be cherished by his children, Joseph and Hailey; a brother, Darin Bouchard; aunt, Dawn Gabriel; father and mother-in-law, Frank and Phyllis Rega; sister-in-law, Marissa Esteves; brother-in-law, Daniel Esteves; and a niece and nephew, Emma and Jack Esteves. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, November 10, 2022, from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Lesko & Polke Funeral Home, 1209 Post Road, in the Fairfield center. Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 11, 2022, at 11:30 a.m. at St. Lawrence Church in Shelton.
