David Gonzalez Obituary
David Wayne Gonzalez age 47 of Bridgeport, CT entered into eternal rest on Sunday, October 4, 2015. David was a loving son, father, brother, uncle and grandfather. Funny and outgoing, he touched everyone he knew. He loved spending time fishing and playing basketball with his children.
David leaves behind to cherish his memory his mother Elizabeth Roberts of Princeton, WV; father Juan "Johnny" and Ana Maldonado; loving companion Gloria "Bibi" Jimenez; five children Angel and his wife Ashley Colon; Krisia Gonzalez, Devon, Yahir and Rhyker Gonzalez; sisters Linda Maldonado, Debbie Alain, Salome Rivera; four grandchildren and an extensive list of extended family and friends. We will all miss him dearly.
Friends may greet the family Wednesday, October 7, 2015 from 6-8pm at Community Funeral Chapels, 798 Park Ave, Bridgeport ,CT. 203-334-9999. Interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, donations to the family will be appreciated. Light a virtual candle for "David" at communtiyfurneralchapels.com

I wish I could pick up the phone and call you but that's no longer an option. I could go on the roof and yell at the sky but today it's not an option. So I'll sit here and reflect and celebrate your day. I try to write without a tear but impossible when your not here. I smile at a memory. And the what if's which turns into laughter with the thought of your reaction of being 54 today and I know you would be saying nope that your 35. DAD today make 3 years that god decided He Needed you as an angel. These 3years has been a bumpy ride . This was a Friday night the day after he was released from the hospital after having 2 heart attacks and having stints placed in 2 arteries. He seemed fine that night. Never thought this would of been our last time together. Forever in our hearts and how we all miss you.
